Junior Sky Program

.
Seuss15

Ages 6-11

Our Junior Sky Program develops children’s strength and coordination while introducing them to the exciting art form of aerial silks in a safe and encouraging environment. Students will work through our established level progressions to build their strength and aerial vocabulary. The kids will also learn how to work together, both creating and performing group choreographies in class. Each Level incorporates a series of skills, strengths, and behaviors that are required to test into the next one. Because we work in the air without harnesses or safety nets, it is imperative for students to master fundamental skills low to the ground before advancing to harder skills that are performed at greater heights.

All students under 18 must have parent or legal guardian sign waiver before flying! Click here for link to electronic liability waiver.

Junior Sky is designed for ages 6-11 years old. 12 year old students would join our adult classes.

We strive to make our studio a place where everyone feels comfortable. Sky Gym classes deliver a low-impact workout and can be done by people of all shapes, sizes, and ages. We recommend being able to hang from a bar for 10 seconds, but if you can’t, don’t fret, there is still alot that you can do. Sky Fit and Sky Yoga are great classes for building your grip and arm strength in preparation for Sky Dance classes. While all of our classes are high intensity, they are also very low impact because you are training in the air. This means that you’ll get a great workout without putting excessive stress on your joints. If running or jumping causes pain or stress to your joints, Sky Gym may be just the workout you’re looking for.
