Fabric Skills (Levels 3-5)

For the intermediate to advanced fabric and student wanting to expand their skills repertoire. This workshop will feed you new and exciting tidbits of climbs, wraps, and drops; or aerial candy. We will also be examining and making connections between the foundational wraps to create a well rounded understanding of the way that fabric works. You will not only learn how to execute the trick, but also explore why and how it works, and how to link it to other vocabulary.
The Dynamics of Duo – Partnering in the air (All Levels)

Come with a partner or on your own, ready to work with new people. This workshop focuses on artistic creation and expression in the collaborative process. We will be exploring partner skills and storytelling on aerial silks and sling.
Form and Function (All Levels)

When: Saturday, March 3rd, 4-6pm.
It’s simple; good form equals efficiency of movement, the illusion of effortlessness, endurance and aerial longevity. In this workshop, we will approach the fundamentals of aerials with an obsessive-like attention to detail, otherwise known as “dorking out.” Using fabric and a bit of rope, we will be focusing on precise body awareness, foundational skill progressions, strength building techniques, and injury prevention. Designed for all levels, this is a great workshop for newbies; also excellent for the more seasoned aerialist who has a desire to refine their quality of movement, fluidity, and develop the tools to expand their skill set more easily. (1.5 hours)
